fairy's back

Oil study from a life drawing session. I painted over an old painting and whenever I do I am always surprised with the results. The tree in the background is the torso of a figure I painted before , only I flipped the painting. I like the imaginary light I added around the neck. It gives it a nymph like quality I enjoy. Sometimes I really struggle over weeks to get something even resembling this painting, however this piece came together in less than 2 hours.
