Retiro Park

This Summer I visited Madrid, Spain.  As I strolled through the Retiro park, I took a photo which inspired me to make this painting. I was fascinated with the luminous turquoise color of the sky and the contrast of the pale violet ground. 

 Its 12"x 24" oil on wood panel.
